I'm in therapy (again) due to a deteriorating work situation. It's bad here and getting worse. I am looking for another job, and I have some nibbles. I'm a finalist for two situations that I think would be better than my current one.

The problem? I feel disloyal and feel that my "appointments" for interviews are transparent and I'm dealing with a huge amount of stress and guilt. I feel as though I am sneaking around....being totally two-faced.

Pretending I am really "into" my current job when speaking with my new boss (who cannot save this place) while saying that I'm ready to move when speaking to prospective employers. I have one foot in one world; the other foot out the door. The stress is crazy-making.

Any hints on how I can cope short-term?

There's an applicable car commercial out there. It says: since when is it a crime to leave the office ON TIME? or something like that...point is when did it become a crime to want another job???? You need to do what you need to do to get the job you want! I guarantee you, your employer would dismiss you in a heartbeat, if it were the best thing for him.
The days of loyalty are long gone and not that it is a good thing, but it is the way it is! Please stop feeling guilty and two faced. Do whatever it is you need to do to get that different/better job! Good luck!
Thanks for this!
