I'm looking for more work to enhance what I am doing. (I'm a cashier) I'm in good standing and had another job but in June my boss rehired me. The other job simply didn't work out and wasn't my thing anyway.
Long story short...my current company takes good workers, reassigns them and then pays them less than what they were making. I don't have a choice except to keep looking. I cannot afford to take a lower hourly wage. I can do housekeeping, light stocking, driver/delivery... I'd like to find a job closer to home 'cause the old car takes a beating now driving almost 20 miles one way. Any fresh ideas? Am I missing something? I'm too old to go back to school and don't have the time to do that now if I could. Thanks, Cat ![]() |

Ohio Wage & Hour Administration 614-644-2239 mailto:webmaster@wagehour.com.state.oh.us But driving 40 miles a day for a cashier job is ridiculous. Do you live in a city? Town? Rural area? |

I live in a small town in OH. Larger cities where there are jobs worth a hoot are at least that far away. Thx for the Administration number. I'm calling for sure.
