I went to a baby shower that one of the decorators at the bakery had asked me to. The baker I work with happened to be there and the decorator had mentioned about yes you are leaving the bakery now around her husband so she would make conversation about it. The baker said that she pretty much didn't want me to know yet?
But I thought it was odd because she told everybody there at the bakery yesterday but me and said she wanted to wait to mention it to me this coming week. I was thinking of asking her about if there was a reason for her waiting to tell me without making it awkward. Or I could just start discussing it and say so you wanted to wait to tell me today when we work next. hmm I do understand though I am the newbie there and she has worked with the others for about a year now. 5 month and a year there is a difference plus we both are bakers.

I don't get it - who is leaving the bakery? The other baker? Is this the one you have had trouble with in the past? That could be why she didn't say anything to you. I would not bring it up, personally.

But yes, I was thinking of mentioning it to her because she did say she was planning on telling me tomorrow. That is why I am confused why wait till then. who knows.... ha
