I'm tired of not being considered for permanent full time opportunities. In the last 10 years I have recovered from a complete psychological breakdown.

I have completed a BS Degree, insurance license, and previously held a real estate license, being alone with strangers made me nervous so I let all of the licenses expire in good standing. I'm a 1% Myers Brigs personality type INFJ. It's very hard being odd. I cannot pass a work personality test, never have, always try, never pass.

Temp jobs constantly, and my state is supposedly #2 for recent grads, yeah bull. Not anyone recenly graduating is 20, and not one opportunity in my field has opened to me, not one!

I really am at a loss on how to move forward in life.

Hi there Aviza. Sorry you are feeling so discouraged. What is your field you completed BS degree in?

I try to work on the fringes and get my foundation in place. I do yoga and exercises every day. I practice mindfulness. I do my anger management work. These start me in the right mental framework to be open to new possibilities that I may not have considered.

Hello Aviza: I'm sorry you are encountering such difficulty. I've been out of the job market for some years now. So I no longer have much perspective regarding what's happening with it. Statistics regarding how good a state is, in terms of employment opportunities, aren't of much help if you can't find suitable employment yourself. Hopefully something will come your way soon. I wish you well...

Let's take a look at your strengths:

I have completed a BS Degree, insurance license, and previously held a real estate license, being alone with strangers made me nervous so I let all of the licenses expire in good standing.

Now let's look at your challenges:

I'm a 1% Myers Brigs personality type INFJ. It's very hard being odd. I cannot pass a work personality test, never have, always try, never pass. ...

I really am at a loss on how to move forward in life.

The challenge here is not that you are a "1%" Myers Briggs.."

The challenge is that you even think this is true. Back in the day people didn't think like this, didn't rely on this, didn't have to pass "work personality" tests.

Sure there were "odd" people, but a lot fewer than nowadays.

I think the reason for that is not because there actually are more "odd" people, but because we pathologize everything.

Here's what I see. You are college educated which means you can learn; you have excellent knowledge about two tricky fields: insurance and real estate.

What is it you want to do? You don't want to spend time alone with strangers--ok. Reasonable. What do you want to do? Decide that and step by step go for it.
