Does anyone have problem of mind blank out at work? I mean that I couldn't recall certain task or words properly. Consequently this caused trouble for me. I was alert at the time.

Having high protein low carb meals or snacks around every 3-4 hours or sooner if needed keeps me from having brain fog.
For me lifestyle changes fit big in my recovery hopes. Sleeping enough 7-8 hours at one time or in naps is really important. A high protein low carb diet with snacks or meals every 3-4 hours will over time reduce my swings. I also avoid alcohol and recreational drugs because those can really increase depression. Other lifestyle changes that help me are doing yoga, exercises, mindfulness, calm music, and being active on Psych Central. If you are trying to relax to go to sleep, breathe naturally and count silently 1 on the inhale, 2 on the exhale, 3 on the inhale, 4 on the exhale...up to 10. Then start at 1 again. You can do this laying down in bed. It is better than counting sheep.

UGH, I feel ya. I go to the linen closet several times a night and spend 2-3 minutes staring at it until I can remember what I came for. Sometimes I even pass the closet and stand in the hall blank. I repeat what I'm going for now until I get there, but if anyone says anything on the way.........back to blank.
