HR interviewer often ask the question why do you think that you fit for this job?

I always seem intimidated by this question and feel depressed with my answer.

there are so many people applying for the job that I just feel not up to the challenge.

How do I answer this question ?

Hey sito, I'm going on an interview tomorrow, but tonight I'm going to prepare, and if I see an answer in these books I have, I'll let you know. Cat

You can't teach/train passion and enthusiasm. Really caring about what you do wins over most employers. If you don't feel the passion..fake it.
Thanks for this!

Skill set, experience, enthusiasm, thirst for knowledge and learning, like someone else said, if you have to, fake it til you make it!

I had an interview earlier today. I believe I'm getting quite skilled at faking it till you're making it! It went on close to 45 minutes and so I'm taking that as a good sign. Excited to know soon...

Think about the job you are applying for and why you are applying for that job. If it looks like you could do the job, your answer is that you have the right "skill set" for it; you know the computer programs you have to operate or the machines you'd have to use or you have had a job like it before, etc. If you are applying for a customer service type job, you have the right "temperament" for it, you are friendly, loyal, honest, and hard-working. If the job just looks interesting to you, you are a "good learner and love a challenge" and would be excited to be a part of the team, etc. Picture the job in your mind and then tell them you have whatever you picture. If it is something "boring" like filing or some other repetitive job, you are "conscientious" and "detail-oriented". Imagine you are hiring someone for the job, what would you like to hear?
