Editing

I like to do editing.

So many people on here are such good writers. I'm impressed and inspired.

I wrote a full length screenplay. I'd give it 2.5 stars and it's ultra, ultra low budget to produce. Seriously, like just sandwiches for the crew.

I have locations all picked out and they will let me shoot, film.

Only I don't know how to produce a film.

AND

And this is a big AND

I can never let the film be made because there's somebody I used as the inspiration for one of the characters. Direct quotes from what he said. It's the funniest part of the movie. A hilarious scene based on what this guy actually said. It was the dumbest thing you ever heard.

When he said it, our other friend and I fell on the floor laughing. My friend peed his pants laughing.

I wrote a scene where what he said actually happens to the character who is based on him.

So, I can't write it out of the scene because it is too good, too funny. I'd rather not EVER produce that screenplay because I do not want to hurt him.

I can't EDIT that scene out.

But my decent English skills help me to be an editor.

I am also good at editing plays. Cutting out the extraneous material to shorten the play. I did this when I trained in Theatre.

I am a good Talent Director/Coach

I would love to work in video/writing.

Look on you tube to self produce your stuff. You never know!

How do you self produce your stuff on you tube? Do you mean perform it and upload? Or film the movie and upload?
