Ok so I'm thinking of learning how to repair phone screens on smart phones, but I don't know where I can pick up some cheap ones with broken screens that I could practice on. I've heard eBay, but I'm not sure of the integrity on that site.

Does anyone on Pc do this for a job/side job. What is a good place to get the tools for doing this kind of work? Anyway any information would be helpful.

I have also seen on some online stores people selling broken phones in bulk like old flip phones and blackberries. Idk

I don't do this type of work but i sell stuff on ebay and i think its a good option at least to get started. i would just check the sellers account and reviews. Also i believe ebay has some type of garuntee.
Thanks for this!

Thank you for your input where do you find things to sell online? Do you go to garage sales and pick stuff up?

I would just buy a cheap used/old phone of each "kind" you were interested in, no matter how broken, and practice replacing the screen, whether it's broken or not? Don't know if you saw this?

My friend is doing this as well. He asked around to procure some damaged old phones and iPods, which he all got for free.

My friend asked his buddies and acquaintances from all the community organizations he is involved with if they had any phones to donate.

Haven't sold in a while though because I just hate dealing with the post office so much and need a break. But Ill be back at it again. Not sure about want ads...?
