So I have a job I like and am doing well at and now my mom is honing in. She wants me to forward her resume to my employer. Honestly I have worked with her before but not a job I actually am successful at doing.

I really am not sure how I feel about her working there. They have people's kids, siblings, and spouses working there so it wouldn't unusual. Just not too keen with the idea. I don't want her messing up what I have going.

You could send her resume and tell your boss you aren't really keen on working with her. Put in a bad word for her.

Do they have a policy on this? My current employer has a policy which discourages such behaviour as it can blur into nepotism.

Nepotism is alive and well there. I did forward it. She responded stating she would be contacting her about the next training class. Not about an interview straight to training! Whose the trainer? Lover boy. And who did I hear talking to managers today. Lover boy saying the word mom. So yes it's my mom he's mentioning.

I have no idea why she even wants to work there. She said it was a job she dudnt think she could handle. Maybe it's too see what's going on. Get her insight on trainer. Who knows. She volunteered at my little brothers daycare to check on him back in the day. Seems similar.
