The boss who has tortured me since January has been let go! I'm back to my old supervisor, who actually is very good! Miracles! There is hope!

I was totally blown away by this. It definitely wasn't expected. Most of the projects that he was "managing" have been canceled. An exception is the big one that I've been working on, ADA Compliance for the company website, a couple other big projects that never really got off the ground, and video project that he completely messed up.
Goes to show that showing up late, taking long lunches and treating people like crap don't always pay off.

I think they were giving him time to bury himself. Just the fact that they are canceling a lot of the projects he was managing makes me suspect that. We generally don't cancel projects. They needed him to fail so they could fire him for cause I think. And fail he did. They were also watching what he was doing pretty closely and were able to do that in our division, where it was harder to do in his old division.
