Hi All! I have been out of work for seven months. I applied for disability but was denied. So now I am looking for a low stress, not fast pace and no multitasking job. Any suggestions?

Hello sassysue,

Unfortunately I can't think of any jobs that are low stress, not fast paced and no multitasking. The job I work at is quite simple and straightforward, but it is fast paced. I stock items at a large store and I feel little stress there, but you are constantly moving. I keep my phone on me which counts my steps, and I never have a problem getting over 10k steps at the end of a shift.

Do you have any degrees from college or university? Where have you worked in the past, what experience do you have?

I'm sorry it is tough possibly clerical filling making photo copies of documents etc. It is very tragic when you have to multitasking duties.....I had a job where I had to remember what floor I was on to log on replenish supplies such as mug sugars coffee the dish washer tea's for conference and client services. It was the EASY'S job ever but with something wrong there was numerous bouts with time lost ectera and I excel at how to manage. Being extremely mindful is painful and cluttering we have several niche ideas and still time lost .....I truly understand the struggle just be gentle with yourself and appauld the times when everything is okay and simple.
