We have a new rule where we HAVE to finish all our work before we leave. We can’t have anything left. My coworker I was working with and myself were grumbling about it because we didn’t want to stay longer and then we were wondering how we would have time to clean up. But we rushed and got our stuff done right on time. 1 other coworker was finishing up her stuff. And another coworker just walked out and left some stuff. She really upset the manager.

I feel like it may have been partially my fault. But I also don’t think we should be getting told to stay later when we get equipment to work 20 minutes before we leave. I don’t drive and sometimes the person who drives me has stuff to do. So I can’t always stay later. But mostly it was my fault today we didn’t get everything done.

I'm having a hard time staying motivated and pressing on. I want to quit so badly because being heavily bullied is exacerbating my depression + anxiety, I'm unintentionally losing weight, having insomnia, panic attacks and migraines because of the stress. I really think I can do better elsewhere even if I spend a few weeks or months unemployed, but because I live with my mom, she won't let me quit and my mental health is not good. It's summer, my favorite time of year. I should be happy and celebrating but I've never been so disenchanted and unhappy. I feel lifeless. It makes me so sad. I don't care whether or not I'm buddies with my team but when they go out of their way to treat me badly and make that conscious effort to be cruel, I can't perform my duties.

I didn’t actually start doing my usual job until a couple hours before my shift ended. It was managements fault though I wasn’t doing it. Also I guess they only send us home early on holidays. So we were doing all this other pointless stuff and it was just difficult. I felt like passing out all day. Also there was some drama going on with a coworker who likes to play dumb. The day was just stressful. They said tomorrow we have to work twice as hard. I’m trying to figure out how that’s my departments problem when management was the one who messed up. It seems a bit unfair.

I thought I was doing fairly well, considering I've been feeling sick quite a bit the last few months. Then I had a meltdown after work Friday. We found out Friday that our only vehicle will need to go in the shop, and it might take all of our pitiful excuse for 'savings' to fix it.

I wish I didn’t have to work tomorrow. But I’m off Monday. Which I don’t get. I did ask them because it just sounded really weird and they said they do need me tomorrow. I swear if they ask me to work on Monday as well I’m going to lose it. Well not exactly. I’ll probably just say I can’t. What I want to say is “I can only work 20 hours a week and I worked Sunday instead of Monday. So it’s your problem you messed up the schedule and are now short staffed.” Also I know one person in my department quit and possibly another. But still it’s not my problem.

My coworker was freaking out that the electrician was an active shooter because she thought he gave her a scary look. I said “gotta hide behind those boxes.” Then explained that they say the thing to do now in those types of situations is to fight back. She didn’t really get it. I was just having a bit of fun and messing with her because I knew who the guy was. Why would she think they’d let the guy in anyways when the store was still closed and just be casually walking by him instead of alerting everyone?

I get so tired of immature workers. they fail to understand that it is work, and not a playground for grade school jokes. also that employers actually expect you to show up and do a professional level of performance. it just amazes me. and then people complain. do they expect $$ for free???? if you are old enough to work then you are old enough to act as an adult, clean up after your self , etc.

There are a big bazaar this weekend, and the company will participate... So I'm going to work with weekend without paid like always. At least they'll reimburse the hella high fare and lunch. I'm unmotivated because there will be no rest this week. The bazaar will be held in another city, over 30km. Moreover, I might do presentation if needed. I'm going to feel worn out, emotionally and physically.
The good thing is: they host it near the Japan-specialized shopping mall. My friend said the sushi is really cheap and delicious. I'm going to buy some. It has been years since the last time we had sushi. |

I have issues with people who fail to pick up after themselves in the break room and are slobs. their work stations are messy too...you eat, clean up. work, clean up. no one is there to pick up after you. if you are old enough to work then you are old enough to avoid drama and pick up after yourself like an adult. don't want drama about who likes who better, and who works harder and which boss likes who and who gets picked on...it starts with you picking your crap up and bein g a frigging adult.
no respect for whiners who carry on. do the job you are paid to do without the drama. come to work and work. |

This downright angers me. My manger gives me the big boxes at work and only me. She will even not give me ANY boxes if there’s only small boxes available. My coworker across from me will get all the small ones. I’ll sometimes have 5 huge ones in a row. It’s very, very frustrating. I am being told my speed is not consistent and this is the exact reason why. Not to mention we are doing poorly as a team and I believe this is the reason. I have griped to the coworker who has gotten the smaller boxes and they have noticed it as well. They do not understand why the manager is doing it but agree that she should be switching them up so not one person is getting just one size.

One of my managers is leaving and I’m not too sure how I feel. I felt like she got me but I never actually needed to tell her I was autistic or had general anxiety disorder. I did mention for the first time today that something was too stressful and she immediately accommodated me. But it was like she just seems like she knows something isn't quite right. Maybe she had experience with it or something outside of work. I just felt like we had a connection in a silent sort of way.

I have ADHD and most people don’t ever recognize it on me because it usually makes me an overachiever and helps me multitask. As my depression has increased in the last few months, my hyperactivity has decreased but my ADD hasn’t, making it almost impossible for me to work properly. This past few days I’ve had a rush of hyperactivity making me like a child and impossible to work with.
I LOVE my job, but between all the ups and downs I’ve been having alternating between my depression and my hyperactivity I feel as if I’m the worst employee. I wouldn’t hire myself. What do you guys do to mange your time and attention at work? What can I do to be more efficient and cope strategically with my adhd? Thank you! |

I had a sleep attack during work today. I was falling asleep in the middle of working and I wanted to leave. I came close to it. But my manager was really pissed at all the other people who didn’t show up and who called off. So I knew I couldn’t. I just really struggled for about 2.5 hours this morning. I wish I had coffee with me. I had protein chips instead which helped. By 8 I felt much better.

I worked three days this week, because I booked a 4 day trip to Ottawa to visit friends and celebrate Canada Day. It was a nice long weekend.
The punch my colleague and I made for the progressive die we are working on turned out great. We were both pleased. It was a nice conclusion to the short week. __________________ Dx: Didgee Disorder |

I was drinking an iced coffee today and my manager said to me “will you bring me an iced coffee?” I said “if you want me to???” And he gave me a weird look. Sigh. My communication skills with the store managers particularly this manager need to be worked on. I do great though with my department manager and all the coworkers in my store.
