I cant stand working. Not talking about my job in particular, (yes a a little bit actually) but the concept of it.

Of having to work to live and spend half of your life time working, and the rest of your time sleeping, then your FREE time, doing whats needed to stay alive and the remaining time, complaining, wishing, copying what others do and seems fun. But you dont..

No, i dont like working at all. Mine is not a bad job, but it wears me out.

And, not exaggerating, i feel that having to work makes me want to die, while if we didnt have to work, we could really live and enjoy our time as we please.

DUTIES really make me want to die.
Thanks for this!

Nor do I .... and I've been doing it 12-14 hrs a day for 40 years . But we didn't get to choose this society . Just were born into it and all the rules that come with it . I don't particularly like this system and I could ramble on for hours why ( but I'll spare you that ) . In the end it is what it is ..and could be worse I guess . we dream of a better society , but I suppose should spend some time being thankful we didn't get born into a worse one .
We still do have choices to a large extent . Accept how it is , make a plan to escape or make it better and work towards it .
We live in a system of greed and power , and we deserve to live in that system as humans . If we were each given a choice of .. being personally rich , or being able to improve our society but living a hard life ourselves but it would be better for future generations . How many would choose the latter . Not many I would say ....and that's why we have a system based on greed and power .
Accept the system , make a plan to beat it and work towards it .

So what are the options .
To be the master of your own destiny you need some financial security . You could win , steal or inherit assets and it's too easy .
But for most to free themselves from the servitude of endless mind numbing labor , there has to be a process .

Free yourself from debt - debt is the tool of the establishment to keep the masses working .

Understand where your money goes to - you need to know where every cent goes so you can understand how to spend less .

Spend less - if you can lower your cost of living it's the same as making more money . Better in fact as it's a tax free saving . This is bigger than you would first imagine . If you look to the future . Do you want kids ? . Kids cost money . Where do you want to live ? cost of living varies greatly from place to place . I'm not saying don't have anything . What I am saying is things come at a price and you have to choose .

Increase your earning capacity - make more money . Be that do extra hours . Move to a place or job that other people don't want to do or be to increase your earning capacity . Save money .

Make that money you saved work for you - This is where the schools of thought start going off at tangents . Invest in a savings account . Invest in property . Invest in stocks . Just google it and 1 million opinions will roll up . Personally I'm not sold on most of them , but others have made a lot of money that way .

The F.I.R.E. community is growing ( Financially Independent Retire Early ) . Most of these people work towards growing a million in assets and then live of a 7% return on their investments for every ...happily ever after . Most of these guy's have kicked off with their plans since the GFC . They have never lost 30% of their assets in one hit . They are likely to do so sooner or later if history is to be followed .

Financially Independent , Then Pivot . I like more . Get to a place of financial security where you don't have to earn as much money to be comfortable . So in effect you can work less hours , or do a job you prefer . You don't need to risk as much on investments . This I think has more chance of success .

Always remember ..they talk of financial independence . Are you really ever independent if you have to rely on a markets profit for your independence ? I would call that still dependent in a way .

It can be done if you decide you want to be the master of your own destiny and you work towards it . It can't be done over night . You could achieve it in 10 years hopefully . You just have to decide how you want the rest of your life to go . If nothing else it gives you a purpose , a reason to go to that mind numbing job .
Thanks for this!
