the employment network prefers me to be a security guard rather than a truck driver, because I can't drive. meh. I did some calculations and it would've took about 2 months to get a driver's license.


I doubt I'd get hired for security work anyways. veterans are more likely to get that job, with their combat experience. also, since security guards don't need much qualification, it's probably more competitive.


but eh, I didn't know how to drive, so yeah. Also, they are giving me free help, so it's not going to be the best quality help. i'm pretty much getting a free job though! i should be excited about that . . .


I can try getting a driver's license on my own, honestly. I was thinking of running some local business where I deliver groceries to people with a car. I could also target some physically disabled persons with that business, since they can't leave their homes. but i'm going to do the responsible thing and continue working with the employment network, primarily.
