I think I’m at my wits end with this job but I’ve said this many times before and here I am in the same place after all these years.... Usually my managers finally relent when I reach my limit but I’m just tired of it.

Yesterday I started a job search for some work I can do on the side. If I can start the kind of consulting work I would like to do, I could potentially reduce my hours at my current job to three days a week. This would keep my job security on one hand but get me out of the constant pressure I’m under.

I’m a very reliable and efficient worker and I am being take advantage of. I want to step back and force my bosses to get off my back.

Hubby doesn’t think it will work. Every time I try to do this he talks me out of it. This time I’m going to really try and keep searching. The writing is on the wall. They’re going to keep pushing me and I am tired. I can’t sleep because I’m so worried about meeting all their deadlines.

Send me positive vibes. I need it. I really want to make a change but nobody supports me in this endeavor. I hope I don’t give up on this again. I feel as though I just keep giving up on myself.

Good luck! You can do it!
Feel proud of yourself for doing something to better your situation. Regardless of what anyone thinks about what you're doing, you're the one who has to live your life, not them.
I'm a big proponent of the belief that if there's something that you don't like about your life, then change it.

There's no harm in trying to redirect your work. You're the one living with the pressures and if all your husband can do is feed into self doubt, then shame on him. Either come up with viable solutions or zip it, I'd say to him. It's stressful enough to seek other employment, life is too short for such negativity.
I hope something lines up for you and you can minimize your stressors.
