I hate today and the expectations placed on me today. I want to call in sick I really just want to quit but have too many reasons not to.

I'm applying for jobs, have two interviews coming up. The job I really want is the later interview I'm expecting to get one job on the spot but want to wait until I find out about the other job.

Looking for a job is adding to my stress level. But my car is falling apart from driving it so much. And the job I'm working costs more money than it's worth. But I can't afford to quit right now.

On top of that I may need 2 or 3 weeks off my current job would do it a new job might not. Planning weight loss surgery.

do you think switching jobs before a surgery is wise? You cant blame a new employer for not being ok with a new employee needing 3-4 weeks off.

New employers usually honor previous commitments as long as it’s being communicated up front. It might end up being unpaid leave but they could be ok with it. People get new jobs all the time despite having previous plans.

My son in law got a new job right before getting married. He told them at the interview that he would have to be out for two weeks right after starting. They said it’s ok, just has to be unpaid. He was gone a week for wedding events and a week for honey moon. It happens in the work force all the time as long as it’s being communicated up front. They never asked and why are you getting a new job now. People do what they got to do

Aviza is your doctor supporting your weight loss surgery plans and is it being covered?

Seeing dr. Thursday yes it's covered. After interviewing my job is looking better. I kind of have it made. Work my hours I want within reason. Paid time off. Not liking what's out there they don't pay.
