hoping title isnt too long for the thread
As a kid, i had my heart set onto becoming a vetinary nurse, however getting a level 3 course is not a option and also i dont know if my learning difficulties would be too much of a obstacle. How could i find out if my problems would be too unsafe for the animal patients and how do i find out if i could even do the job in the first place? i do currently work, its a job i only keeping so i can pay the bills although they do look after us, i admit that edited to add: i got a lever 3 non animal related thing, but i barely scraped through that i think some of my dislexia is acuired from trauma, cause since 2012 which was when a huge amount of the traumas happend, i was able to read on a screen fine, but since 2012 the more years have gone by the more mixed up i get when reading a lot of information on a screen not fun .......... I am not sure how the higher educational system works in the UK, so my idea may not work. However, is there anything like a community college where you could take a few classes, maybe things like anatomy or biology to get your feet wet and see how things go? I know there are city colleges and community colleges in the US that let you sign up for one or two classes.
Best of luck. My ex studied to be a vet technician, which sounds like the equivalent in this country. He combined that with a dog grooming course which made him well positioned to find work at vet clinics that also offered grooming services. |

I suggest getting a job at a vet clinic, receptionist or something. You'll be around animals and may be able to ask questions about your abilities to the staff. just an idea.
