Welcome, and thank you for opening up here. It sounds like you’re carrying a lot right now between job searching, depression, and mobility challenges. That’s a heavy load, and it makes sense that you’re feeling lost. You’re not alone in this, even if it feels that way.
Be gentle with yourself as you move through this period. Job searches are stressful for anyone, and when you add health and emotional struggles on top, it can feel overwhelming. Sometimes breaking things down into smaller steps helps—like setting aside just a little time each day for applications, while also making room for rest and things that bring you comfort. It may also help to connect with others who are in similar situations, whether through forums like this one, support groups, or communities focused on remote work and accessibility. Having people who “get it” can make you feel less isolated. Most importantly, remind yourself that it’s okay to move at your own pace. You’re taking steps forward just by reaching out and sharing how you feel. That shows strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.
