I quit. I'm done. No more. Not now. Tonight was the last night, and now I'm done. No more. I've f*cked up so many relationships it's not funny anymore. It's no fun anymore. No fair anymore. It's Official

So, it's about 3-4 months ago people *thought* I quit, but honestly, except for this last month, I don't remember a day I was sober. So I got honest, and they got pissed. So I had a choice, good buddies or a bottle.

So, I figured I'd post this by here, so I'll have written proof that yes, I did agree to this, even though I should've chosen to at some point of sobriety rather than where I'm at now. Too bad.

So here I go again.. It's Official

All you can do is be sober for today... We all mess up sometimes, that's all this was... We're human, which makes us not perfect. You've come clean and gotten honest... That's what's important now. Congrats on making your first step, and I wish you all the best. We're here for you. ((((Storm))))

Way to go on your decision and honesty!!!!!!!!!
Hang in there one day, one hour, one minute or one second at a time. Which ever it takes. You don't have to do it alone either. We're here for you too.

Yay Storm!!! I'm so proud of you. Just take it one day at a time and tell yourself I won't drink today. Admitting is the first step, you're on your way!!!!

Good for you, Storm!
I too decided to quit yesterday, and posted it on here.
Also quitting smoking, since I seem addicted to the two in combination. I wanted that smoke this morning with my coffee, I must admit, but I now truly believe I am stronger than these addictions.
I too have f***ed up many relationships, and know that my life will truly be different without the addictions. The thought of that is a big scary question mark. As I've thought about quitting in the past, I have wondered , "Well, what will I do with myself all clean and sober and smoke-free???" I truly don't know! But it has to be an improvement, and so I'm paying attention to the advice here, like Raynaadi saying, "One step, one hour at a time."
It's a positive step.
