there are many others holding onto that thread as well.

can you telephone anyone tonight?

It is very hard to avoid drinking when the spouse is drinking.

I don't want you to drink either!! I care very much about you and am sorry that emotions are such that you want to drown them out. In your time posting here you've shown your strength before. You can maintain that strength by not drinking.

It takes more courage to face up to the emotions one wants to bury with drinking than it takes to pour a drink, open a bottle, or drive to the liquor store.

Believing in all you are.

I am worried about my daughter. It is so hard some times when they are so far away. I know that we raise them to go out on their own but still worry. Some times I wish that I could have them here so I could take care of them and better care of them then I did before. hanging on by thread

((((((sky)))))))

Let me say this with you, as I'm struggling as well. It helps.

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I can not change.
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference...
JUST FOR TODAY.
Amen.
