Yes, I am still alive. But now I'm 21 years old. And yes, I still struggle daily with drinking. Honestly I've been drinking all week. And right now I'm listening to "Snow" by Red Hot Chili Peppers...my buddy back in the day used to blast this song all the time...we were messing around with H those days........this was kind of our song to make us "make light" of the situation, I guess.

Anyways. My bud is going to come over, get me a pack of cigs. I've been very disoriented lately, considering the fact that I have been re-diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and borderline ADD...and PTSD...

I would go into further detail about my 21st bday but right now I don't want to "talk" about it.

Peace.

This sounds horrible but drinking helps me socialize. It helps me connect with people and without it I feel useless in such situations.

Don't beat yourself up over the needing the alcohol to socialize. That's pretty much what everybody does.

Alcohol is the social lubricant of the masses. It makes it ok for people to act stupid. It's just a terrible drug in general.

But if you're really not trying to go hard with the booze then you are going to have to try your hardest to find other things to do especially since you've turned 21. The fact that it's so acceptable is what makes it the devil.

And waking up, feeling like ****, and drinking again to feel ok is no way to live.

Great video, the lyrics are right on after that 1st drink. In my drinking days I used to drink so I was comfortable enough to go into bar so I could drink more! Silly! I love--red hot chili peppers although most of their songs are about drugs. Enjoy your youth but at 21 you do have to start being responsible some what or trouble will come your way and that is not fun. Take care sending good vibes and hugs to you.(((((DarlaKat))))))
