i know this may sound naive but i just googled to see if the A.A. are even in the UK. yep, there's one up the road from me ...but in the old psych hospital ... i used to work there and that place is bleeping scary

sick like depressed and feeling guilty about stuff you may have done drunk.. Mostly.

yes, definitely. the worst thing when i do drink is i never have a clue afterward what i did or said. sometimes a friend will tell me stuff that horrifies me...hence drinking not a good idea for me. but the thought of walking into a meeting...esp someplace i used to work...i dunno the thought of it just freaks me out. i'll probably just lurk outside for a while or something.

lots of AA meetings where you live. google again and find another one near you if you like, roz.
AA is around the globe BTW.
