ok so it's only taken me 6 months to get here, but I once again have 3 months clean and sober. I know it's not a huge amount of time, and I've been here before, but I'm still happy. The rest of my life is completely upside down at the moment and sometimes it seems like the only thing I have going for me is that I'm sober, so I can at least deal with stuff. I still get occassional thoughts of using, but I'm usually able to make them go away pretty fast by playing the tape to the end, and that's not pretty.

So today, I'm happy.

THAT'S GREAT!! 3 months is quite a milestone! You should be proud!

If one day at a time is too much, do what I did -- one minute at a time. A whole day was too much for me.

And I went to as many meetings as I could find! Sometimes I got sick and tired of meetings, but they saved my fanny!

Again, good for you! Keep on keepin on! Hugs, Lee

Way to go! That is something to be proud of! They say sobriety 1st and everything else will fall into place.

That're really good! The first weeks are the most difficult ones. You'll start to feel better and better.
