I'm killing time, so I just looked back on all my posts from when I first got sober. Wow, that was crazy to read. It's really cool to have all the posts saved here, to look back on my journey. It was really good for me to see, since I'm having a hard time hanging on to serenity right now. (It's here one minute and gone the next. ) I'm in a lot of physical pain today so I think that's part of it. But looking back and reading my posts from 3 days sober up until now was definetly a great reminder of where I was. I just had 1 year and 9 months on the 24th. I can't believe that a year ago I was 9 months sober. I have to remember that I was much crazier then hahahaha. Anyway, I realized I posted a lot more back then. I miss posting so much.

Thanks spllitimage. =)

My lack of serenity was of my own doing. I'll admit, something anger and sadness feel so normal to me, that I don't realize it's so harmful until I start seeing adds for beer on tv or on bulletin boards and think it sounds like a good idea. Then I get in enough pain to do the work that I know will make me feel better. It's getting better. Although, I quit smoking. It's day 3. So I'm a little arrrrrrrrrrgish hahaha. I day at a time right? Hehe

I am so grateful you are here. You have helped me more than you know. I am sorry for your physical pain, that always sends me in a tail spin, and not in a good way. Also when I am sick I seem to lose serenity. Sobriety is gift, continue to unwrap it. Many more years to you a day at a time.

Ray, what a marvelous thing it has been to watch you grow and mature in sobriety.

Like you when things are crappy, it is good to reflect on how it was when we were still figuring the deal out, and how they are now.

The quality of my problems are so much better than they used to be.
