Don't let it get you down Nicole...everday is a new day and you have a choice today. Yesterday is done and over with...well, except for the hang over. I always asked "why" did I do it...when I drank, it seemed like I felt justified in drinking--I had a good reason. Then the next day I either could not remember the reason or it just plain sounded stupid. What it came down to with me is that I was an alcoholic/addict and I could come up with a billion reasons to use (some not so good)...So, I had to start working on reasons not to use and keep those in mind. I am sure people get tired of me saying this, but maybe you could write down some reasons why you don't want to drink--I'd start the list with "no hang over." Just a thought. I hope you start feeling better. Let me know if I can do anything to help. I am always open to a personal message or email or whatever.
