I am addicted to making and deleting online accounts like Facebook and Fanfiction sites. Between FF, Ao3, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, VSCO, and Snapchat, as well as random email addresses, I have made at least 50 or more of those accounts and then either deleted them or locked myself out, including on sites like this one. What is wrong with me, besides the bipolar, autism, etc. Others don't do that!

Afraid of being seen? Trying to keep up a particular persona that you abandon at the first sign of something going wrong? Just a guess.

I think it's more that I get anxiety that causes me to delete and then it returns and I want the account back.

Are you in therapy or suffer from low self esteem? Maybe you make these accounts, post something, regret what you said and delete? Just a wild guess! I've deactivated my fb a few times after going on some drunken/manic rant. But not often. I do go back and delete my posts a lot though. I can say some stupid stuff while I'm manic and read it the next day feeling so stupid. Learn some self acceptance even if it means seeking therapy to do so. What I learned to do is think twice, three times before posting.
