I'm attempting to use the E-Cig (nautilus mini) to quit cigarettes, but it drives me nuts! I have to fill it 2-4 times a day, replace the atomizer supposedly every 5 days sometimes 2 days, and after 4 hours of constant smoking it dies and I need to charge it!

What I like the best about the E-cig is that I can smoke it in the house, I don't smell, it's cheaper in the long run, and I get my nic fix , but then it requires so much upkeep vs light up and smoke...and even with the constant smoking of the E-Cig, I STILL crave cigarettes to the point of driving over to McDonald's and bumming cigarettes because I am trying not to buy a pack and I can't afford my own pack.

AAAAARGH! WTF AM I GONNA DO!?

Vape through the cigarette cravings. You may need a higher nicotine, try a juice with higher nicotine.

Cigarette cravings continue because there are hundreds of other chemicals in cigarettes and tobacco than just plain nicotine. Cigarettes are engineered to be as habit forming as possible. The cigarette companies don't care that you're slowly killing yourself because in the meantime they're getting your money.

So kick the cigarette companies to the curb and continue vaping. Vaping is at least 95% less harmful than cigarette smoking.

I've spent hundreds on vaporizers (which sounds like what you have). They all leave a nasty feel and taste so I prefer the ecigs such as blue or vuse. Cheaper and some are disposable so no upkeep. I loved my ecig at work. I would sit in the bathroom and smoke it and no one knew. But currently im rolling my own cigarettes and between my bf and I, we're saving $100 a week! The thing that makes me want to quit cigs is the smell. My hair smells, my house, car. Yuck.

When I was a smoker I assumed I smelled ok. As a former smoker I can promise you that people who smoke do not smell good at all. I'm so glad I stopped. You can too!

The highest I'm on is 18 which is what the workers at Digital Ciggz recommended because of how many cigarettes I smoke a day.

I think the thing to remember about nicotine addiction, is the psychological addiction is harder to overcome than the physical addiction.

That's why it can be very hard to switch to NRT or e-cigs even though you are getting enough nicotine.

It's the whole process of buying cigarettes, lighting up & smoking them that is ingrained into you. Obviously e-cigs help by keeping the smoking element, but at the same time... psychologically you think you aren't getting your fix. We think the cigarettes themselves are something we like, but that's just brainwashing... it's the nicotine.

I found it helps to realise that you are just a nicotine addict plain & simple. Cigarettes are just a delivery method. If you can drill that into yourself & realise you aren't missing out on anything not having cigarettes then you'll probably adjust to e-cigs without too much hassle.

It's not something you can force though. The twice I've quit, I've always had "eureka moments", which suddenly made it so much easier. It's just a mind set.

OK, but when you vape, the nicotine takes longer to work than with smoking. Smoking gives an instant rush of nicotine and all the other chemicals. With vaping you're only getting the nic replacement and none of the other chemicals, and it absorbs much more slowly in the mouth and nasal passage ways.

You might want to look into Whole Tobacco Alkaloids too. Some people swear by it. You mix it into the juice you already have and it replaces more of the tobacco fix than only the nicotine. I was using that when my cigarette cravings were bad and it did help me too. It's still not like mainlining these cigarette chemicals, but it can help.
