Little amphetamine pills that I usually crush up and snort

That almost sounds like coke why do you need a head rush? And a nose that isn't the same years later.

Speeders just give you energy and confidence and make you talk a mile a minute. And no coke nose!

When I was still drinking I worked at this bar and on our days off we get free drinks if ordered food at full price instead of our normal 50% I didn't mind that! Anyway all the young crew would order was red bull and vodka so I went to the bar and asked the bartender to make me a drink I used to drink elsewhere so it was red sour puss, Pepsi and southern comfort for kick then I kept ordering China white shots and ordered a full price burger minus the tomato and double the pickles and cheese and everyone wanted poutine but not just any kind of poutine "Laura's poutine" so I had to put on a chef jacket cook poutine it was a house special named after me that only seemed ever popular when I was working!

Anyways business went downhill and I had another job already anyway as a causal one day I came in for a morning shift my first after they told me there was no work for me which is always a lie! I always spent more time cleaning it then I did doing anything else! Anyways the next day I had all 6am-2pm shifts for two weeks with the other job and that job they booked me solid for a month of 8am-6pm a whole ten hour shifts. I said look I already promised to work some place else and I get one shift a month here then you book me a full month with no days off for ten hours a day it's not happening and it's not even legal to do that! So we had some more arguments and I quit right on the spot. They said I had to do the shift I said I am not you can find a stripper who can do a better job! So they covertly said they fired me when everyone in the room including the strippers from next door heard me say "I quit!"

Anyways they told me I am banned from premiss I said look no one likes to come here and good luck replicating the "Laura's poutine"

Anyways so funny is that building is down the street from where I live now and used to buy liquor from them in cases for the month. Anyways the funny part was the boss big head hancho comes in and looks at me as I just finished paying and says I robbed him tries to do the slip bottle into pocket routine well it slips right out onto his shoe but by that time the cop was already walking up so he asked for my bill and went over everything and realized they forgot to give the mickeys we asked for and those shots in case to me and he asked why he said I was stealing I said huh? I was purchasing it's called money from the consumer to the store! All the people in the store snickered! He asked why there was a broken bottle on the floor and the guy behind me said me the consumer watch said man try to put bottle in shallow pocket and call this consumer in front of me a thief! Anyways the police told the man to give me back all my money and everyone's liquor is free on the house who was there so everyone was more then happy!

Do you suggest getting pneumonia as a cure for drunken thinking? Your story about free drinks took me back. I could have put any establishment out of business if I'd worked where the booze was free!

No just that my pneumonia was doing all thinking I was merrily just making so many typos it took me like 30mins to write. I never got pneumonia until I stopped drinking. But I was diagnosed with asthma in 2013 by pulmonary doctor a specialist hard to come by out here.

Congrats on the new job. Do you have to work today, as well? I hope not, since you were up "speeding" all night. You probably don't want to lose this job as quickly as you did the last one. Good luck.

Sounds like adderall. I just got off that the same time as alcohol. I never crushed it and snorted it, but I know it is done. Speed is a scary surrogate drug. It's not as bad as meth, but still scary. Be careful not to step into another trap just as you are getting free of the first one.

Trying to improve my keyboard playing; taking youtube lessons. My left hand hurts. This is related to the interesting things that are interesting again when we stop drinking/using.

Some drawings and colour studies I have been playing with Nothing serious but it is time consuming in a good way lol.

Just checking in. Things are pretty boring and routine, which is actually ok. I haven't been doing much since I've been sick, but I am getting a lot of knitting done, which is nice. Some minor thoughts that a drink would be nice, which I'm able to dismiss pretty quickly, but no serious cravings which is also nice.

Boring can be good...but I'm sorry you're still feeling unwell. Minor thoughts of drinking are pretty run of the mill when first starting over. I'm glad you're able to push them out of your head. You life sounds pretty calm, cool & collected. Good stuff!

The "speeders" are setting off an alarm. Going 3 days without sleep is dangerous behavior. Sleep is important. At this point it will probably feel better than any drug.
