Thought I would do a little update here and let you know how I'm doing . I have tried to join a couple of on line chats that are NA orientated and have worked at this hard for the last three weeks. Managed to get 8 days in a row once. LOL. So I guess I am getting somewhere. It is hard to find support when you cant do meetings. They tell me it cant be done. Since I have gone on this quest, withdrawing a lot of the drugs that were in my system has left me a lot more disabled than i have bargained for.But I have learned a lot and have cut my usage back immensly. I slept for a week . I don't know what will happen but i am determined to beat this thing. Tell you one thing...I do belong here...lol. Found that out as soon as I tried to quit! Thank you. You are the ones that got me started

Hi, I haven't been in here much, but just happened across your post. Good for you on sticking it out when you have limits on participation. God promises to be there for us and can help you anytime anywhere because He at least, has no difficulties in getting around! not like we do!

I get really bummed out with people who are negative about recovery and say it has to be done just so to gain the benefits of recovery. some folks can't get out so things have to be done differently, big deal!

I think you will find many people who will be willin to take you as you are and share recovery with you. Don't let anyone back you down from getting all the help you can. I am sure when and how you do it will be helpful for you.

There is no bridge for the stream we must cross sled...

It is one rock at a time and often when we jump to the next one we see that is was the wrong choice for now there is no clear path. Sometimes we wait until a new rock appears with a changing tide or turn back and try another route...

But it is slow going and no two tracks are the same...

Don't quit before the miracle happens,,the other side is waiting..

With Care,

Lenny
