Hi everyone,
This is my first post so forgive mistakes.
My problem is with xanax. I was on them for
years and stopped cold turkey and had a psychotic
break. I've been free of them for two years
but a couple of weeks a go my gp gave me some
(not my psych, he never would ) and i found
myself jumping at the chance for some. Im not
using them reguarlly but i am using them.
Has anyone else had problims with drug.

hi roxy, the post almost seemed to be answering your own question. if you've had a problem in the past with an addictive drug which xanex is...it's an opiate derivative...your casually using it again may very easily take you back down the wrong road, imho. i'd suggest you discuss this with your pdoc. if he says u shouldn't use xanex again it be be wise to tell your gp that this drug should not be prescribed for you. i had a simliar situation with xanex and now i write on the doctor form when i change doctors that this drug should not be prescribed for me. that way i don't have that temptation to go around that bend again.
hope this helps!!
