i've been quiet about my eating disorder for a long time. i figured it was none of their business nor would anyone care. now im close to where i want to be, so my friends and boyfriend are starting to really notice. as a result i havent spoken in weeks. i dont know where to go from here. i just need some advice. thanks

If I understand you correctly, you are not talking to your friends and bf because you don't to have talk about your eating disorder? I suggest you see a counselor as soon as you can, in order, to get some help you with your eating disorder.

I definitely think you should find a therapist. Therapists can provide you support and help you figure out how to get better--when you are ready. My T told me this week that we didn't have to work on my ED if I didn't want to. She probably observed how nervous it made me. I chose to talk about it and open up gradually. I think if you can find a good therapist whom you can trust and who is sensitive to your needs for therapy then you will be able to open up and get some help.
