Sorry your hair is falling out. And so glad to hear you are in recovery !! Maybe you can think of how long it took for your hair to start falling out. So then think about how it doesnt just turn around and remedy itself fast as you would want. The very important thing is that you ARE nourisning your body now. And it sounds like you are doing a really good job with that. I am not talking about nourishing with suppliments, but with food. The food is what will turn this around. Suppliments can assist, yes. But they are not a substitute. I know you know that. But I write it in case someone who is not in treatment might read this.
Your hair folicles are starting to get the nutrients they need now. From the food. And in time when things stabalize physically in your body, the condition of hair loss can then turn around. The important thing is to just stay on course giving your body the nutrients it needs. Give the body time to heal from the trauma it has been through with the ed. Again, it sounds like you are doing really good with treatment. ![]() |

You sound like you're doing amazing!
Vitamins can help with hair strength and provide a safe boost of nutrients when taken with food. Maybe look into that!

It took years for my thinning hair & the straw like texture to go away....but at the time I was already 52 years old.....it's been 8 years...& my weight has stayed at the safe zone & just above for almost 8 years now......I had frizzy hair in the first place....but it's finally doing better.....if you take the Omega 3's fish oil, I found that to be the best help for getting back to everything being normal.....he helps with hair, nails, skin & also heart & organs......have to find something that works for everything......also, I used some really good hair restoring shampoos & conditioners.
It does take a lot of patience....we didn't get that way over night & it doesn't get back to normal over night either.

Sometimes you actually lose hair as you get healthier, because the old, less healthy hair is falling out to make room for new, healthier hair to grow. Does that make sense? You WILL grow the hair back, and it will be even nicer than before.
