Hi everyone,
I have struggled a while with an eating disorder, low self esteem, anxiety ect.. you all understand where i am coming from! Which is why i really would like your opinion about a tattoo idea that i have. I really want an affirmation written on my inner wrist, something small but has the NEDA symbol. I have attached a PRINT document that has the ideas i artistically attempted to create. There are two phrases; one is "Stay Strong"-> where the "o" is i wanted the symbol. And the other phrase is "Be Brave"--> where the "a" is i wanted the symbol. I am having a hard time deciding what phrase i like best.

I know it is my personal choice, but they both mean something special, and i figured b/c we all are going through very similar issues, i wanted to see which phrase spoke to the majority of people?

"Stay Strong" for me means, being staying mentally, and physically strong in my life. when i am faced with a food challenge or new situation to experience. No matter what, just be who you are.

"Be Brave" means, that when i am scared about anything; food, anxiety/ guilt, body image situation. unsure if i should challenge my eating. To just jump in and go for it, try to not to hold back and do the thing that scares you.

I hope you will let me know what you all think
Thanks.

Love them!

What if you did it like a crossword puzzle? One goes down and the other across at the NEDA symbol?

I like both phrases equally and what they mean to you. I am also wanting to get a tattoo with the NEDA symbol as the body of a butterfly. Maybe write each phrase on a slip of paper and draw it out of a hat to help you choose.

After looking at the attachment, I like the way it looks in Stay Strong better.

Just NOT into tatoos of any shape or form......so no opinion for you here. I would choose another way of reminding myself in a personal way.....

A tatoo would have looked horrible with all the weight I had lost the wrinkles made me look like a 90 + year old......can't imagine how horrible a tatoo would look in a situation like that & even at a healthy weight, the wrinkles aren't good....lol.....the older you get the more you think about things like that also....lol.
