I got together with my partner in jan of this year

Well cut a long story short, within 4 months of being together he was beating me. I guess my mental health probs exacerbated his own anger problems, I dunno. Cos I'm deffo no push over in an argument but I've never been violent. I had fights before but felt extreme remorse after. When he has a fight it's always justifiable. I took him to a shrink and he said his dx is ASPD

This weekend he's moved from attacking me to assaulting my mum.

I love him tho and he tells me he loves me like no other

Guess what I am asking is, should I stick by him? Can he be helped or am I fighting a loosing battle? I have my probs, he has his etc. is mixing them both just likely to be a recipe for disaster?

Thanks for your replies.

I've bitten the bullet and ditched him.

Since posting this I realised that he had taken my bank account... And withdrew all my money. He's left the county. So I've reported him to the police and there is a warrant out for his arrest.

I really can't take any more.

I tried to get him some help but I guess he never really wanted to help himself in the first place
