Even though I joined this site some time ago, most of you here probably don't know me. I haven't been back here in awhile because this place was a little too quiet for my liking. I didn't post here much because I was posting pretty regularly on a different mental health forum until I got banned from there. And of course, I got banned again for rejoining (under a new username) in order to find out why I'd been banned previously without any warning whatsoever. Anyway, I'm here now and hoping to liven this place up a bit.

If you're as bored shitless as I am most of the time, you won't mind taking a few online tests for something to do. Obviously the results don't really mean much since it's a self-test, but if you were honest when taking it, it may reveal something interesting about you nonetheless.

This will probably be the first and last time I post tests here, so I will post all the shorter ones that particularly interest me in this one thread and make a separate thread for a longer, much more in-depth test that I'd like to see the results of.

I'm fascinated by the human mind. I'm not very introspective, so sometimes I find that taking personality tests is a way to learn more about myself (and others). Mind you, I'm fully aware that self-testing can give biased results, so the results may not be entirely accurate. I'd like to think they are to some degree though, because I try to base my answers on past experience wherever possible when taking tests.

With that said, here are the tests for you all to take. If you've taken these ones before, take them again. I'd like to see your results. Have fun, kiddies:

Levenson Self-Report Psychopathy Scale

Self Test on Psychopathy ('Am I a psychopath?' - Self Assessment, Questionnaire)

My Results:

Levenson Self-Report Psychopathy Scale

You have completed the Levenson Self-Report Psychopathy Scale.

The LSRP measures two scales.

Scores range from 1 (low) to 5 (high).

Your score from primary psychopathy has been calculated as 4.5. Primary psychopathy is the affective aspects of psychopathy; a lack of empathy for other people and tolerance for antisocial orientations.

Your score from secondary psychopathy has been calculated as 4.4. Secondary psychopathy is the antisocial aspects of psychopathy; rule breaking and a lack of effort towards socially rewarded behavior.

Self Test on Psychopathy ('Am I a psychopath?' - Self Assessment, Questionnaire)

There is a possibility that you might have a psychopathic / antisocial personality disorder.
You reached 81.25% of Factor 1 which captures the core personality traits of psychopathy that define the interpersonal and affective deficits of this personality disorder (e.g. shallow affect, superficial charm, manipulativeness, lack of empathy) and that are correlated with narcissistic personality disorder, low anxiety, low empathy, low stress reaction and low suicide risk. But Factor 1 is also associated with extraversion and positive affect - affected persons usually score high on scales of achievement and well-being, so some aspects of the personality disorder may even be beneficial for the psychopath (in terms of nondeviant social functioning or if it comes to profit from manipulation or lies).
You reached 55.56% of Factor 2 which captures the traits of antisocial behavior (e.g. criminal versatility, impulsiveness, irresponsibility, poor behaviour controls, juvenile delinquency) and is associated with reactive anger, social deviance, sensation seeking, anxiety, increased risk of suicide, low socio-economic status, criminality, and impulsive violence.
You reached 100.00% in other relevant traits that can indicate this personality disorder.

Score: 27 of 38

There are strong indications that you might have a narcissistic personality disorder.

Score: 5 of 9

You meet 80% of the range of general personality disorder criteria.
This further indicates that you might have to deal with a severe personality disorder.

OkCupid | Take The Personality Plus Profiler Test

Last time I took this test somehow I got the 'Phlegmatic' result, but this result (below) seems more accurate in it's description of who I am.

Your result for The Personality Plus Profiler Test ...

Choleric

29 Sanguine, 29 Melancholy, 50 Choleric, 29 Phlegmatic

Hail to you who is Choleric!

The firm control when others ar losing theirs. The cut of decision for foggy minds. The grip of leadership to head us to the good. The willingness to take a chance in a doubtful situation. The confidence to hold true in the face of ridicule. The independence to stand alone and be counted. The road map to life when we've gone astray. The urge to "take arms against a sea of troubles by opposing them."

Here is how you rock:
You are a born leader, strong willed, active, dynamic, decisive, not easily discouraged, unemotional, independent, self-sufficent, confident, with a compulsive need for change & to correct wrongs, and you can run anything. At work you are goal oriented, you see the whole picture, seek practical solutions, quickly move into action, delegate, organize well, insist on production, stimulate activity and thrive on opposition. As a friend, you have less need for friends than other temperments. You'll work for group activity, lead, organize, and you excell in emergencies. You are usually right.

Here is how you suck:
First of all you don't think there is anything wrong with you. You think you are always right, so you can't be wrong. You'll probably think the following aren't even weaknesses. You are impatient, impetuous, inflexible, unsympathetic, bossy, quick tempered, dominating, and too busy. You can't relax, you won't let others relax, you like to argue, you won't give up when you are losing, you won't admit you are wrong, and basically you come on too strong. In the workplace, you have little tolerance for mistakes, you don't compliment others instead you are rude and tactless, you make rash decisions by glossing over details (unless you have a melancholly edge to you), you are manipulative & demanding. As a friend you tend to use people, dominate, decide for others, know everything, think you can do everything better than everyone else, be unapologetic, and be too independent.

But seriously, you are freaking awesome. The rest of us are just irritated that you make us wrong and don't realize that you are annoying us. We love you, we need you. You make EVERYTHING happen and without you we just sit around doing nothing, or planning, or leaping into things and not finishing. All we ask is that you try to understand our personality types and let us be right too. Once you learn and accept how others are different than you, you can more easily get them to do what you want ;-)

You have completed the Levenson Self-Report Psychopathy Scale.

The LSRP measures two scales.

Scores range from 1 (low) to 5 (high).

Your score from primary psychopathy has been calculated as 3.4. Primary psychopathy is the affective aspects of psychopathy; a lack of empathy for other people and tolerance for antisocial orientations.

Your score from secondary psychopathy has been calculated as 3.3. Secondary psychopathy is the antisocial aspects of psychopathy; rule breaking and a lack of effort towards socially rewarded behavior.

---

There is no clear indication that you might have a
psychopathic / antisocial personality disorder.
You reached, however, 56.25% of Factor 1 which captures the core personality traits of psychopathy that define the interpersonal and affective deficits of this personality disorder (e.g. shallow affect, superficial charm, manipulativeness, lack of empathy) and that are correlated with narcissistic personality disorder, low anxiety, low empathy, low stress reaction and low suicide risk. But Factor 1 is also associated with extraversion and positive affect - affected persons usually score high on scales of achievement and well-being, so some aspects of the personality disorder may even be beneficial for the psychopath (in terms of nondeviant social functioning or if it comes to profit from manipulation or lies).
You reached, however, 27.78% of Factor 2 which captures the traits of antisocial behavior (e.g. criminal versatility, impulsiveness, irresponsibility, poor behaviour controls, juvenile delinquency) and is associated with reactive anger, social deviance, sensation seeking, anxiety, increased risk of suicide, low socio-economic status, criminality, and impulsive violence.
You reached, however, 75.00% in other relevant traits that can indicate this personality disorder.
You might have certain traits of antisocial or psychopathic personalities but certainly not in a form that would justify a personality disorder diagnosis according to the standards.

Score: 17 of 38

There are strong indications that you might have a
narcissistic personality disorder.

Score: 8 of 9

There is no indication that you might have a histrionic personality disorder.

I didn't take the okcupid ones as I don't have an account there and they always make you sign up to get results for anything and I just can't be bothered.

I'm diagnosed with Narcissistic PD with antisocial and borderline features so I'm not surprised by my results.

The personality test that you've just taken is based on the Five Factor Model of personality. Personality psychologists believe this is a pretty good description of the broad traits or general areas that go to make up a person's core personality. Personality isn't set in stone, however, so keep that in mind if you see anything you'd like to alter below. Teenagers and young adults should take the below results with a bit of caution, as their personalities are still under development (personality is generally pretty well formed by one's mid 20's).

What do each of the 5 traits mean?

Extraversion - Energy, enthusiasm, socialable
Agreeableness - Altruism, helping others, affection, friendliness
Conscientiousness - Control, will, constraint, dependability
Neuroticism - Negative emotions, nervousness
Openness to Experience - Originality, culture, open-minded, intellect.

You don't have to sign up with okcupid to get your results. There is a tiny little link underneath all the sign up bullshlt that says something like, "No thanks, just my results". All you have to do is click on that and it takes you straight to them.
Thanks for this!

17 on PC's psychopathy quiz. Didn't have the patience to do the other tests.

The state gave me a legitimate personality test before I went to court for my case and I lied through the whole thing with what I felt were the "right" answers. I denied hurting people and animals because its a felony in my state and I have too many felonies on my record as it is. They still recommended cognitive behavior therapy, which changed me a little bit even though I was sugar coating to the T because I was afraid she would snitch if I said too much. I wanted to get off the hook A.S.A.P. and I did. I was honest in these, as honest as I could be, since I hope or at least I felt like no government agency was going to see it. I never saw the results of my government funded personality test and I lied through my teeth to the psychologist who gave it to me.

I think its funny they said that about NPD which is weird I don't consider myself a Narc at all, my current DX from the psychiatrist even says BPD. I was a victim of narcissistic abuse from a sexual partner before and it was traumatizing, we wanted to kill each other when it was all said and done.

I like people that are somewhat similar to me, but I can't take being around people are too similar to me. "This town ain't big enough for the both of us." - so you wont catch me 'round these parts much cowboy.

Took the psychopath test -- seems I always get 1 point below the score necessary for passing.

One wonders though, is psychopathy a bad thing? Politicians with this trait should do better than most at wining elections and holding keeping their popularity high.

However, is psychopathy really something that is real? Could it be that people with low desire to conform have other traits that cluster around and then people just label the associated traits as psychopath? And aren't the heroes of our culture the ones who dare to stand out?
Thanks for this!
