Not to beat a dead horse by talking about my anxiety in every other post but I seriously don't remember having a bout that has lasted this long. My bouts of anxiety (trigger-induced or otherwise) have always lasted a few days, a week or two or maybe a month at the most.

Now, it's going past the two month mark so I'm concerned that my anxiety has become chronic and not just a once or twice a year thing. I'm noticing tingling on my left forearm, visual blurring and muscle twitches in my face and neck. That to me is scary stuff because I heard rabies could cause that too. Last night I had these sharp (but very mild) pains in my neck about 3-4 times in the evening.

I can also feel my nerves just buzzing away underneath and that's pretty scary too. Will I have to be on medication for the rest of my life?. What can I take to make this go away permenantly and without having to pop a benzo every morning and a Vistaril at night?. I want to feel good NATURALLY - not with a bunch of pills in me. I mean, anymore I HAVE to take medication or I am a basket case all day and somehow I just don't think it should be that way but I guess I have no choice, huh?.

Well, the lightening is booming away outside so I'd better post this before we have a power outage or something.

Hugs and kisses to all Longest bout of anxiety ever??

We are here for you. Just take one day at a time and this will pass. You can win this battle. Trust me, if I can get a grip on anxiety anyone can. I have only began! Come fight with me Grey. Stand by my side and walk this path to freedom. Just like the "little engine that could" But more positive. "I know I can"! and I know you can too!

Hi there my ole' fishin' buddy!! ((((((((chitown)))))))

We have a friend who goes out on his yacht and does some pretty heavy deep-sea fishing and brings us back tons of fish that you would have to pay lots of $$$$ for if you bought it in the store. He has a lot more money that we do (we're as poor as church mice) but he's one heck of a nice guy.

My room mate and I used to do a lot of line-fishing when we lived in Georgia. I think it's illegal now(?) but what we did was put out a long bamboo rod and it had a line tied to it every few inches with bait attached. We'd put it just at the water's edge, crawl into our tent and the next morning...BREAKFAST!!.

Anyway, yeah I guess I'm feeling slightly better now. I just took a Vistaril. Gosh, I could take 10 of them right now..lol.
