so i've been posting here a bit now, and after seeing my doc yesterday she put me on 8 pills a day (all anxiety meds but one), some of which are supposed to kick in in 6 weeks, some in 4 and one is supposed to be immediate (but it's not..) and one is just melatonin to relax me. nothing for sleep despite my being awake for days on end.

she said i can't work. she had written me a letter for unemployment since i lost my job for being in the hospital. she says i stump her and if these meds don't work she wants me to spend half of my days in the hospital.

so what do you do? i mean, i have to work. i don't have rich relatives willing to pay my bills and take care of me. i don't even have health insurance anymore. i doubt i can get disability at 22 years old. i have a job interview monday and i'm just so stressed over it, but my mother keeps calling me lazy because i'm not doing anything and says that i "blew off my last job" and that's why i got fired.

i wish i could just live with my ex's family. i love them so much but i'd still have no money and be unable to work.

Just because you are only 22 does not mean you can not be on disability. The SSA determines eligibility by disability not by age. Good luck on the interview!

The good thing is that you got some medications that can help you. If you are unable to work, then maybe your T can help you apply for SS disability. As for the job and interview, just take one day at a time Veggy, I hope you can land the job.
