I have had anxiety/panic attacks 2 times in 2 weeks, one being last night, still feel the after effects. I hate leaving the house, and i hate being in my apartment for the fact that, thats where i have had both attacks. this is a crazy way to live, ive resulted to having a cpl of glasses of wine to calm down, and i dont even drink. if anyone could befriend me or wanna chat please feel free to do so. feel very alone in this.

((((dturtura)))) I do understand. In the past year, I have confined myself to my bedroom when I'm not at work, instead of going outside or living in the rest of the house where I might actually enjoy something. I can't wait to get away from work or church or shopping to get back to that bedroom.

I've been trying to actively notice what my thought processes are, and in the past few days, have realized that I spend all my energy fighting and resisting anything that will take me out of those 4 walls, yet that's the place where sickness can find me. I haven't taken steps yet to change that behavior, but at least I realized it is a problem, and it sounds like you have too!

Do you have access to therapy or a doctor?

Take care of yourself--I'll be thinking of you and hoping that you find the help you need.

I understand how those things are. I've had anxiety all my life, but since the last two years, it has become worse. I now get panic attacks all the time for the littlest reasons. I like being alone most of the time because people stress me out, and it gives me anxiety. I've dissasociated myself from many people. I'm sorry you are going through this also. Try to find an outlet to rid your stress, and usually the anxiety will go also. I hope you can get better soon.
