i've edited this post thanks to fear. sorry for any inconvenience, but it didn't feel right to display something so important on here. i do apologize. but to cut the story short, thanks to an accident involving a car last night, i could have been killed and now i'm petrified of car revving sounds. i woke up terrified having heard it. i tried googling fear of car sounds, but nothing came up. has anybody experienced this?

Oh hun I'm sorry to hear about the accident! I think it's completely understandable that you're shook up, anyone would be. It's a scary thing for ANYONE to go through and you're not going to be just 'over it' the next day, you need a little time. I'm sure you will be ok x
