Maybe talking or thinking about everything you afraid of happening (for lack of better wording). And also, what is causing the anxiousness, do ya think?

It could be hard to pinpoint; could be as abstract sounding as a childhood experience to as recent as having some trouble with the job and worried about running into conflicts.

I think worst-case-scenerio sometimes, that way if it happens I have
already figured out what to do...I donno, maybe that's just productive worring, lol.

I think before you go, you should insur stuff like giving yourself plenty of chillax time before you have to leave, drink some hot tea or whatever....
I like to strech, makes you take deep breathes and loosens up all thise tight muscles, maybe listen to your favorite music, eat something healthy-
you know, all those things that will put your mind at ease before you get there.

I wish you the best, it might turn out to be really fun,
and I wish that for you.

Take care,
-obj

Thank you. I love coaching. And have been told i'm great at it
however... sometimes i see things that aren't healthy and i worry about the kids (in some cases for very good reason- others i think i'm projecting to some extent... i'm seeing things in them i use to see in myself then remembering what i went through and seeing it in some cases as a vivid or fague flashback which causes anxiety and sometimes panic attacks) that what makes me anxious i think...

i appreciate the advice and i will try to do that... i need to take care of myself tomorrow or my anxiety will be increased by lack of sleep food etc...

Good Luck today!
It's okay to allow that there will be some anxiety--very common when returning to work and until it feels routine and familiar again.

There are some good grounding techniques at the top of the Psychotherapy forum that might help when you need to get centered.

good for you . keep it up. all is good . when u feel it will come, just keep telling yourself that you wont allow it to creep on u. i know it has worked b4. try totake things lightly in life so that u have the upper hand on the situation. it takes time but it works. take care

Congratulations on facing your fear
What a warm and positive experience it turned out to be. I am so happy for you that your coworker friends were excited to see you!
