SO...

My counselor said that my anxiety was most likely caused by being ADD. (she gave me a questionnaire thing on it and I have almost every symptom)

but at the same times sometimes the reason I can't focus is because of anxiety...

So how do I know if my ADD is causing anxiety or anxiety is causing ADD?

I'm going to go to a doctor soon to see if I actually have this or not... my counselor is pretty sure I have it but she cannot diagnose me... so

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum I didn't know which to post it in:/

I understand where you are coming from. I have ADD and panic disorder along with ocd. I am on meds for my mental health and physical health. (I have high blood pressure).

Sometimes you just don't know which one brings on the other. Thanks for explaining it like it is. Your mind does feel like a pinball machine and you just want it to stop.

BatsAndButterflies, I have ADD too. My meds and meditation really help control my symptoms. I know what it is like to be so anxious and have a pinball machine in your head. I hope your doctor can help sort things out with you.
