i cant really say for sure but i do know marijuana makes you more anxious..its possible that that anxiety will manifest itself in the form of OCD. i cant really give you any kick-*** advice lol, but if it affects you that much you might want to think about quitting

Weed intensifies the flow of chemicals to your brain, sometime up lifting. Though when you do come down from the high you do become anxious, depressive and sometimes even angry. Also if you already are one of those things it's only going to make it worse. You can become easily paranoid.

If your already on med's for OCD, and you smoke its can mess up your bodies reaction to the med's and not work. My honest opinion, don't smoke up.

I think that marijuana encourages irrationtional and delusional thinking. That's why paranoia is common. It also encourages avoiding, hiding, and unrealistic escaping.
So, I think other ways to relax would be better and finding ways to tackle head on the things that we want to escape from and avoid would give us better self esteem and tools to use throughout life.

Agreed. I found the older i got, the more anxious it makes me. I loved it at 15 and now I just cringe whenever someone pulls out a joint(23)..it just makes me nervous and antsy with rediculous racing thoughts

It helps me while I'm high but once I'm sober, I'm more anxious than ever. I don't know if I'm anxious for another high or because of my OCD... After I don't smoke for a day or two I'm back to normal~or whatever it is that I am~and I feel better. I've gone through phases of obsessions with it. Sometimes I'm fine with it and other times it scares me to even consider being around it. Who knows.
