Well, I'm starting to think that I have OCD...I have done a bit of research regarding this, and am just not sure. I have many symptoms, but these symptoms really seem to bother me, such as always having to have the volume at an even number instead of odd...always washing my hands...I don't count or have to do things a certain amount of times, I worry about my friends and family constantly...when anyone goes out, even just for a pack of cigarettes I worry they won't make it back, I pray for them until they return. There are a few other things, but they don't bother me, I never thought of OCD until I seen something about it on TV. Does this sound like OCD?

Check with a mental health care person, they can screen you. That really is the best way to go with such concerns, get professionally diagnosed, find out what treatment is available.
Can be a relief to find out at last whatever it is. Even if it is something challenging. Knowing what is going on is a vital first step. Any of us could try an armchair diagnosis but it wouldn't be fair and couldn't be completely accurate. You deserve good competent care and answers to your questions. Best wishes! ![]()
