ok so I have been having anxiety issues lately. There are some things I just can't do, like go on an escalator! I even get nervous in elevators too. Sometimes just being on a top floor of a building makes me nervous. I get freaked out when I'm driving. I don't like being out in the dark. Im terrified about going back to work. yesterday when i was taking the dog out i saw two "zombies" in the corner of my eye and they turned out to be just two people taking a walk. I'm physically ill too. I have aches and pains, tension headaches, and im short of breath. I'm wondering if this will ever pass? Any tips?

I can relate. I've been trying to avoid telling myself that I "can't" do things and instead concentrating on times where I've successfully done similar activities or been strong and brave. The world hasn't gotten scarier, it's all my reaction in my head.
Thanks for this!

so i talked to my doctor yesterday and he said it could very well be the trazadone I was put on recently. He said it has a reverse effect on some people. He said stop taking it for awhile and see what happens.

Hey, always,

You're at the right place. You're with the right people. Breathe deep and slow, now. Over and over. You'll survive this. And you'll get to a better place. You will. You've got a doctor. You've got meds. Sooner than you think, you'll find the right meds for you. The world will look better. You'll talk to your doc or your T and they'll start to focus on what your real problem may be. You're in a process. Not at the end of the line. A process that will lead to your understanding yourself and feeling better about life. All of us here on PC are somewhere along that road. And we've all been where you are right now.

This won't last forever. You WILL feel better. You WILL come out of it. There are literally tens of thousands of members here on PC who can tell you how THEY came out of it. And you can too!
