I have had a Social Anxiety Disorder disorder i'd say for close to 6 or 7 years. Its affecting my life so much, i consider suicide almost daily. I don't believe its general since i am ok around some people and my friends. Any and all help would be appreciated.

First things first, can you get in to see your doctor ASAP? When it comes to dealing with mental health issues it's important to prioritize, and whatever is having the greatest impact on your emotional state gets precedence. If you're experiencing suicidal ideation, you need to get on an antidepressant immediately. Ideally, you would start counseling ASAP, too.

Can you think of your recovery in a series of stages? Like, "today I'm going to call the doctor" "today I'm going to get medication I need to alleviate this depression" "today I'm going to find a counselor", and so on. You *will* feel better soon, and you will get the help you need, you just have to put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward.

And keep posting

Jitters is right. Anxiety impacting your life that much is in desperate need of medication. Contact a doc immediately.

I suffer from severe anxiety. It keeps me very isolated. Im on meds for it. Ive created my safe spots. Home and my office. and my car that links the two places. I can talk to people at work because they are coming into "my space" for help. i go to the grocer as little as possible. i imagine a safety bubble around me when i go in the store and i always buy the same things, i know just where they are, i do not browse, im in and out in a flash. sometimes when i step out of my apt, i feel the whole world sucking in on me in one big whoosh. sometimes i cant leave.

i have been working on it with pdoc with some real success but i wont tell you what we have been doing because it could frighten you where you are at now. but defintely, get in to see a doctor, your GP, have him/her refer you to a psychiatrist and a good therapist.
