I'm so terribly anxious. Little story. We were together for 3 years and she broke up with me about a month ago. We weren't supposed to talk until new years in hopes for her to start missing me I guess. She basically just didn't want me. She texted me today to see if we could just talk tonight instead of waiting till new years because she doesn't think anything is gonna change. Okay I don't know what to do. I don't think I can take the rejection again. I'm so hurt because my damn anxiety was the main reason we broke up in the first place. And I tried to explain it to her and it just didn't work. I'm going crazy. My mind is just all over the place. Between trying to figure out all this anxiety/depression/OCD and the love of my life leaving me and other life changes I just feel lost, broken, so hurt. And other feelings I didn't even know I had. I can't keep doing this. It's terrible. Has anyone ever felt like this?

You want certainty in relationships. I know it's hard but if you have no future together it's best to break off contact, because otherwise you'll just feel bad.
If you break contact you can take some rest, and after a while when you're ready you can start dating again. I mean you feel anxious because of this upcoming meeting. That's far from having fun together, and if she made up her mind I don't see a reason to continue to meet up with her. |

I agree, if she doesn't see a future (or present) with you, why do you need to discuss it? There's no reason to torture yourself, you've got enough on your plate. Please take good care of yourself. XOXO

It actually turned out way better than I thought. I know I should tell her to get lost but I feel like its gonna work out. I hope anyway. She said she missed me and loved me so much and all of that jazz. But she's confused. I'll see where it goes I guess

I'm just torn apart really. Already dealing with such bad anxiety and depression, depersonalization, etc she left me. When I thought she'd always be there. I'm making good steps to get where I need to be in my life and she just isn't having it. She sends mixed signals. One day she "needs" me the next she just flat out wants to move on. I'm finished though I can't keep living like that. It seemed like everything I did was to try and please her I guess you could say. Because I knew if I lost her I'd be devastated like I am now. She was the only person I turned too for so long so yeah I mean it sucks. Most of my friends disappeared so I'm trying to re connect and just find myself again without her. Just gonna take some time. Thanks for listening!

Anytime. Please remember that someone who messes you around is not worth your time or effort. If she's unsure, she could take a timeout to figure things out, not treat you like a yo-yo, it's unfair and hurtful. Btw, i've NEVER been unsure of my bf, so i'm just suggesting what i'd prefer if i were in this situation. Personally, i think you should stand up for yourself and tell her you need time away from her, and she should not contact you unless she knows what she wants. But hey, again, that's just me... Please keep sharing, you are important, you are valid, and you are worthy!XOXO
