On Tuesday I have to get an EEG and they've told me that it would be best if I get as little sleep as possible the night before. They are hoping that if I deprive my body of rest then there could be a higher chance of me having an episode during the procedure. I was wondering what others have done to help them stay awake for most of the night. I'm planning on renting movies and just sitting under the desk lamp all night long. I have to stay up long enough for my appointment is at 5pm. So what does everybody do to help them stay up?

When I need to stay up for extended hours (and it isn't school related, as in completing assignments) I play on my computer, listen (and sing) to some music and phone my buddies on the phone. (But only if I can find a night owl who's normally awake, otherwise thats just plain mean!!)
![]() Good luck with your EEG.
