I haven't posted in here in awhile. Back when I did I was having a lot of problems with my anxiety and social phobia. Since then I've been put on propranolol. I'm only on 10mg three times a day, but it has worked wonders for me. I've been able to work on facing my fears. Putting myself in situations where I'd normally feel uncomfortable. I have a presentation to give at work next week. Usually I'd be so scared and anxious. Even this far in advance, but I'm actually looking forward to giving it.

I hope others have found things to help with their anxiety and phobias.
Thanks for this!

That is really good info to pass on. I didn't know propranolol was as good as that. It is a very safe med, so you are lucky to get so much help from it. I'll bet, as you give more presentations, your confidence will grow to where you will eventually not need the med anymore, though good to have it around for when you might need it.

Hi Rose76- Was going through some of my old posts and came across this one. You were so right. The more I stepped outside of my comfort zone the more self-confidence I built. I’m still currently on Propranolol, but only take 10mg in the morning. Huge drop from when I first started. I hope all is well!!

Propranolol has been so helpful for me. I had a lot of social anxiety and it literally eliminated it. I almost never take it anymore since I've built up my confidence but I went from struggling to give a presentation to be interviewing on the local news, actually twice.

I know some people don't find it that helpful but for me it was a Godsend.

That is so great. I'm happy to hear it's helped you as much as myself..

Propranolol is great, helped me so much too. I was started on it at 3times a day too, I use it twice a day now.
