I was doing well this morning, then things started getting icky and then I was really depressed, like soooooooo depressed, I felt like a puddle of goo, dried up by the sun and blowing away in the wind. Major depression.

I did some self-help, Light and Sound Machine, hypno download, took a tranquilizer, slept for two hours. It calmed things down, not quite so depressed, and I emphasize not quite. But now, I'm shaking, sweating, shaking uncontrollably, heart is pounding out of my chest.

Is this a Major Anxiety Attack? If it is, what do I do besides what I've already done?

Help please,
SongBird

Anxiety is worrying about something, having panic attacks sometimes hard to breath and sit still.

So yea it sounds like you had a panic attack or it could be related to the medication. check with the prescribing doctor to be sure.

Thanks Myself,

I appreciate the supply. I did take my medication after it started but do plan on calling pdoc on Monday. I've never had that happen before and it was scary. Just trying to make it through the night.

I remember my first anxiety attack.... you described an anxiety attack but I wouldn't call it major.... it is a very good idea to discuss it with your doc, you may need an adjustment with your meds.
Take care, wishing you the best,

Hi Cher,

A little better today??????? Trouble this morning and now hohum this afternoon. Pdoc increased the celexa - whatever.

I'm in a control mode right now so at least I'm not a dusty puddle. But very irritable. I really, really, really, really don't like feeling like this and this whole mental health thing totally, truly, absolutely sucks!

*sigh* SongBird
