Last night my female dog ( I have 2 dogs), fell into the empty swimming pool from the patio.... I didn't hear her cries... she must have been there at least an hour,
she was shaking and scared for sooo long after...
I love my dogs so much it really got my heart pounding and adrenilin going.
Poor thing!
On the other hand, which I am really not upset about, maybe I should be, but she scratched the cr-p out of the lining of the pool trying to get out... that can be patched though.
Sometimes I think I care too much about my dogs....but, they are my babies and give me sooo much affection.... I'm extremely sensitive and protective of them.
Patricia, not sure this is normal poor thing!

it is totally normal... at least, if I'm considered normal. I would feel the same way about my cats.

I agree. My little baby is a part of my life I could not do without.

I am glad your dog is safe now.

Sorry to hear your pet fell into pool. I understand about the love for your pet. Mine has megaesopagus He can not eat regular I have to blend his food with water giving him a cupfull at a time. 4 times a day. He is a rescue that came to me at 2 months 25 days old. Most would have put him to sleep vets did not to much about this problem. He is now 3 years old 25 7/8 at the withers and 82 lbs.

I know now I'm not the only one who loves pets like this,
that is something ster... what breed is yours? My female is a cross of black lab and german shepard, Sushi, and my male is a pure shetland, Circa.
wishing you all the best, and yes, always.... one day at a time

You're welcome. poor thing!

There's actually a picture of a lab/shepherd mix that's adorable, but I wanted to put up a picture of a 100% shepherd.

I loved the dog photos so much I played around with the web cam yesterday.... the puter is in my daughters room and my dogs wouldn't stay still for me to take their pictures. They sleep with me and are not used to being in my daughters room....she is always yelling at them to get out. I will try again to take their pictures but I think I will have to get someone to hold them.
Thanks again for the photos and I will be showing my babies soon too'
